Technology Comes Standard

The Nissan Rogue Sport is ready to keep you connected. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ will both remain standard features in the 2020 model, allowing you to control smartphone apps right from your vehicle’s touchscreen display.

Everyone who buys or leases a 2020 Rogue Sport will also be able to take advantage of Nissan Safety Shield® 360. This suite of six driver-assist technologies, previously available on upgraded trims, is now standard on the base model. It helps keep you aware of your surroundings and prevent collisions with the following features:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
  • Rear Automatic Braking
  • Lane Departure Warning
  • Blind Spot Warning
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert
  • High Beam Assist

To make the Rogue Sport even more driver-friendly, Rear Automatic Braking is also standard on the 2020 model. This feature keeps an eye out behind the vehicle, so you can back up with confidence. It can even activate the brakes if you fail to stop when approaching an obstacle in your path.

Updated Appearance

The exterior of the Nissan Rogue Sport has also been refreshed for 2020. A bolder style comes in the form of a deeper, more aggressive V-motion grille. The hood also has sharper, more defined creases to go along with this new grille design. Around back, new combination taillights continue to showcase this crossover’s modern style.

Color is one of the first things anyone notices about a vehicle. You’ll certainly be noticed when you opt for one of the two newly available color options: The bold exterior design of the 2020 Rogue Sport is finished off with an available Nitro Lime Metallic or Monarch Orange Metallic paint job.

Not a fan of these bold choices? You’ll still be able to choose a more standard option, too.

Performance You Love

Just like its predecessor, the 2020 Rogue Sport will offer a 2.0L DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine. This small but mighty motor teams up with an Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) to provide 141 horsepower and smooth acceleration. Hit the Eco Mode switch to go farther on each tank of gasoline.

This capable crossover SUV will also be available in your choice of front-wheel drive or Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. The latter is prepared for sudden rainstorms, patches of black ice, and sharp corners: It can adapt to changing road conditions 30 times faster than you can blink your eyes, so you’re always in control.

2020 Nissan Rogue Sport: Positioned between its smaller Kicks and larger Rogue brethren, the Rogue Sport is a compelling option for those who don’t want a larger SUV. Prospective buyers should note that while “Sport” is part of its name, here it refers to the Rogue Sport’s smaller size rather than to its performance chops. However, the Rogue Sport does well in the areas that people care about most: fuel efficiency and cargo capacity. All models come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) regardless of trim; front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional.
